Made up of Senior Norfolk cricketers, Black Sheep CC plays 5 or 6 games a year against local club teams who raise money throughout the year to donate to our funds. This money is allocated in the main, to individual local children who, due to a variety of illnesses, require specific help to enhance the quality of their lives.
Some examples of money allocated in recent seasons include:
- £500 to a severely disabled, six year old boy, who needed a specially adapted car seat
- A three year old boy, suffering from cerebral palsy, needing an adapted wheel chair
- A donation of a laptop, to Daisy who contracted meningitis at the age of six and is severely disabled
- £500 each to five branches of Riding For the Disabled to be used to enhance the opportunities for children
We have also made considerable donations to both the Fred Nicholson School who specialise in caring for children with learning difficulties and Harford Manor who specialise in caring for children with specific educational needs.
If you know an individual child or cause who might benefit from our help, please contact us.
